Yes, ViPo is compatible with any phone number that can be reached from the outside.

What connections does Virtual Porter require?

ViPo requires power (a standard 230V socket is sufficient) and an internet connection via LAN (RJ45). Connection via WLAN is not supported for quality reasons.

Do we need IP phones to receive calls from Virtual Porter?

No, ViPo can call any phone that is reachable via a direct number.

Does Virtual Porter also support video calls?

This feature is currently in development.

Can Virtual Porter also display our company video?

Yes, the media areas on the homescreen and the info page can be supplemented with a video. (Recommended file format: mp4)

ViPo scrolls automatically as soon as more than three greetings need to be displayed simultaneously. SmartScroll ensures that each visitor greeting is sufficiently long and clearly visible.

Q: There are multiple tenants or departments in the building. Does each one need its own Virtual Porter?

No, one ViPo is usually sufficient for the entire building. The first level of the person search can be divided by company and/or department.

Q: How are contacts and greetings entered?

The entry is browser-based. If desired, each tenant in the building can receive a password-protected access and manage their contact list and greetings themselves.

Q: Can data be imported?

Yes, contact data can be imported by us. An Exchange connection for the automatic display of visitor greetings from the calendar is currently in preparation.

Q: Can the layout of ViPo be customized?

Yes, it is possible. The following elements can be edited: • Header (top area): completely • Homescreen: media area (image & video) and text • Info page: media area (image & video) and text
